According to Howard Balzer, the Browns worked out seven players, including:
- LB Kendall Donnerson
- LB Porter Gustin
- OT Aaron Monteiro
- OT Storm Norton
- DT Walter Palmore
- G Marquez Tucker
- G Isaiah Williams
Donnerson, 23, was drafted in the seventh round out of Southeast Missouri State by the Packers in 2018. He signed a standard four-year rookie deal but was waived coming out of the preseason.
The Packers re-signed Donnerson to the practice squad and signed him to the active roster late in the year. Green Bay waived him with an injury designation during training camp.
Donnerson has yet to appear in an NFL game.
Norton, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of Toledo in 2017. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Lions cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
Norton was on and off of Lions, Cardinals and Vikings’ practice squads last season before signing a futures deal with the Vikings. Since then, Norton has been on and off of the Vikings’ roster before being waived during final roster cuts this year.
During his five-year college career at Toledo, Norton earned first-team All-MAC honors, while also being named to the AP All-Bowl Team.
