Browns Worked Out Eight Players

According to Aaron Wilson, the Browns worked out eight players on Wednesday including veteran kickers Nick Folk and Kai Forbath. 

The full list of players includes:

3. K Kai Forbath
4. LB Dewayne Hendrix
5. DL Robert Landers
6. K Matthew McCrane
7. K Cody Parkey
8. DL Ricky Walker

Folk, 35, is a former sixth-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2007. He spent over two years in Dallas before he signed on with the Jets in 2010 as a free agent.

Folk was entering the final year of his four-year, $12 million contract that included $2.1 million guaranteed when the Jets released him. After a short stint with the Buccaneers, Folk joined the Patriots last year and was on and off of their roster.

In 2019, Folk appeared in seven games for the Patriots and converted 14-of-17 field goal attempts (82.4 percent) to go along with all 12 extra-point tries.

Forbath, 32, originally signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2011. Forbath had brief stints with the Buccaneers, Redskins, Saints, and Vikings before signing on with the Jaguars in 2018. 

Jacksonville released Forbath last year and had a short stay with the Patriots before joining the Cowboys in December. Dallas elected to re-sign him this offseason back in March but cut him loose earlier this month. 

In 2019, Forbath converted 11 of 11 field-goal attempts for the Patriots and Cowboys to go along with 11 of 12 extra-point tries (91.7 percent)
