Mike Garafolo reports that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host Cowboys free agent LB Bruce Carter for a visit.

• Ian Rapoport confirms the reports and adds that Carter will also meet with the Texans.

Carter, 27, appeared in 13 games and recorded 68 tackles, five interceptions, a defensive touchdown and eight pass defenses for the Cowboys. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 34 linebacker in a 4-3 defense out of 40 qualifying players.
