Buccaneers Re-Signing DL Pat O’Connor To Practice Squad, Cut RB Bruce Anderson

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are re-signing DL Pat O’Connor their practice squad after he passed through waivers unclaimed on Tuesday, according to Greg Auman.

  • The Buccaneers released RB Bruce Anderson from their practice squad in a corresponding roster move. 

Tampa Bay’s practice squad now consists of:

  1. S John Battle
  2. DL Terry Beckner
  3. QB Nick Fitzgerald
  4. WR Emanuel Hall
  5. C Nate Trewyn
  6. CB Mazzi Wilkins
  7. OT Brad Seaton
  8. RB Tony Brooks-James
  9. TE Jordan Leggett
  10. DL Pat O’Connor

O’Connor, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Lions back in 2017. He was waived coming out of the preseason and was on and off of the Lions’ practice squad before joining the Buccaneers during the 2017 season.

Tampa Bay brought O’Connor back on a futures contract this past January only to waive him on Monday.

In 2017, Pat O’Connor was active for three games, but did not record a statistic.
