Rand Getlin of Yahoo Sports reports that the Buccaneers, Bengals, Seahawks, and Patriots are all in the running for OLB Jabaal Sheard.
Sheard, 25, has played out his four-year, $5,090,250 rookie contract that included $3,133,375 guaranteed with the Browns and is now among the best available edge players in this year’s free agent market.
In 2014, Sheard recorded 44 tackles, two sacks, and three pass defenses over the course of 16 games.
Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 16 outside linebacker in 3-4 defense out of 46 qualifying players. We have Sheard listed as the No. 29 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
