The Buccaneers have claimed DE Carl Nassib off of waivers on Monday from the Browns, according to Rick Stroud.
- Ian Rapoport adds that the Buccaneers released DE Will Clarke to make room for Nassib.
Nassib, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Browns back in 2016. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $3.59 million contract that includes $889,752 guaranteed and set to make base salaries of $773,000 and $868,000 in the final two years of the agreement.
The Browns elected to cut Nassib on Sunday after claiming some players off waivers.
In 2017, Nassib appeared in all 16 games for the Browns and recorded 32 tackles, three sacks, and five pass defenses.
