The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Monday that they’ve cut Kerwynn Williams, OT Israel Helms, WR Malik Taylor and TE Isaiah Searight (injured).
The Buccaneers also signed S D’Cota Dixon, OLB David Kenney, OT Riley Mayfield and WR Spencer Schnell.
Williams, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the Colts back in 2013. He lasted just a few months in Indianapolis before signing on to the Chargers’ practice squad.
The Cardinals would later sign him to their own practice squad and he spent four years in Arizona. He had brief stints with the Chiefs and Lions before the Buccaneers signed Williams last week.
In 2017, Williams appeared in all 16 games for the Cardinals and rushed for 426 yards on 120 carries (3.6 YPC) to go along with 10 receptions for 93 yards receiving and one touchdown. He also contributed 326 kick return yards and 137 punt return yards.
