The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Wednesday that they’ve placed RB Ronald Jones II on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.
Jones, 23, is a former second-round of the Buccaneers back in 2018. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $7,071,926 contract that included a $3,223,320 signing bonus.
In 2020, Jones has appeared in 13 games for the Buccaneers and rushed for 900 yards on 180 carries (5 YPC) to go along with 28 receptions for 165 yards receiving and seven total touchdowns.
