The Tampa Bay Buccaneers promoted LB Josh Keyes to their active roster on Saturday, according to the NFL transactions release.
Keyes, 22, signed on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Boston College back in May.
He was unable to make the team coming out off the preseason, but was signed to their practice squad a few days after he was cut.
The Chiefs later signed him to their practice squad close to a month ago. Keyes returned to the Buccaneers’ practice squad earlier in the week.
He’s yet to appear in an NFL game.
