Ian Rapoport reports that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have reached an agreement with S Major Wright.

  • Mike Garafolo mentions that with the Bucs bringing Wright back, Dashon Goldson is no lock to return and could be released or traded.

Wright, 26, signed a one-year contract with the Buccaneers last year and would have been an unrestricted free agent in the coming days.

In 2014, he appeared in 12 games and recorded 51 tackles, and a pass defense for the Buccaneers before he was placed on season-ending injured reserve due to a rib injury. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 53 safety out of 87 qualifying players.
