Buccaneers Re-Sign WR Bryant Mitchell To One-Year Deal

According to Adam Schefter, the Buccaneers have signed WR Bryant Mitchell to a one-year deal.

Mitchell spent the 2019 season on injured reserve in Tampa Bay after tearing his Achilles during the preseason.

He was scheduled to be an exclusive rights free agent this offseason.

Mitchell, 26, wound up going undrafted out of Northwestern State back in 2016. He later signed on with the CFL’s Edmonton Eskimos and spent three years in Canada.

The Cardinals signed Mitchell to a futures contract last January. However, Arizona cut him loose back in May and he later caught on with the Buccaneers.

For his career, Mitchell has caught 97 passes for 1,418 yards receiving and six touchdowns over the course of 19 games.
