The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have re-signed CB Ryan Smith to a one-year contract worth $1.75 million on Friday, according to Greg Auman.
Smith’s contract includes $1 million guaranteed and another $500,000 in incentives.
Smith, 26, was drafted by the Buccaneers in the fourth round of the 2016 draft out of North Carolina Central. He signed a four-year, $2.932 million contract with a $592,160 signing bonus.
Smith was suspended for four games back in July of last year after violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy.
In 2019, Smith appeared in 12 games for the Buccaneers and recorded 11 tackles, no interceptions, a forced fumble and a pass defended.
