Schnell, 25, wound up going undrafted out of Illinois State in 2019. He later signed a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Buccaneers but was waived coming out of the preseason.
The Buccaneers did, however, re-sign Schnell to their practice squad before calling him up in December. The Buccaneers cut him loose a few weeks ago.
In 2019, Schnell was active for one game, but did not register a stat.
