Buccaneers Release DB Anthony Gaitor & Sign LS Anthony DePaola

Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports that the Buccaneers have released DB Anthony Gaitor and signed LS Anthony DePaola to a contract on Wednesday.

Gaitor, 25, was selected in the seventh round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Buccaneers. However, injuries have really taken a toll on his playing time in recent years.

In 2012, he was limited to appearing in just four games because of hamstring injuries totaling just seven tackles over this period time. Last year, he suffered a torn ACL during training camp, which forced the team to place him on season-ending injured reserve.

There honestly isn’t very much info regarding DePaola other than he’s 26 and attended Rutgers.
