The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Tuesday that they’ve has signed FBÂ Quayvon Hicks to a future/reserve contract.
Hicks becomes the 10th player to sign a futures deal with the Buccaneers since their season ended. The full list includes:

Future/reserve contracts are essentially an opportunity for players compete for a roster spot in offseason workouts and during training camp.
Hicks wound up going undrafted free agent out of Georgia back in May of last year and was expected to sign with the Titans but he never signed with them.
During his college career at Georgia, Hicks ran for 166 yards on 23 carries (7.2 YPC) to go along with 12 receptions for 132 yards receiving and three total touchdowns over the course of 20 games.
