The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Monday that they have signed S Mark Joyce and waive/injured WR David Gettis.
Joyce is an undrafted free agent out of the South Florida. During his four-year career at USF, Joyce recorded 181 tackles, 5 tackles for a loss, three interceptions, two forced fumbles and a recovery.Â
Gettis, 26, was a sixth-round pick of the Panthers back in 2010. He spent four years with Carolina and appeared in a total of 17 games during this time. Gettis hasn’t played in a game since 2012 and has dealt with some injuries over the course of his NFL career.
