According to Greg Auman, the Buccaneers are filling the open spot on their practice squad by signing TE Daniel Helm.
Tampa Bay’s full squad now includes:

- TE Tanner Hudson
- DT Jeremiah Ledbetter
- G Nick Leverett
- DB Herb Miller
- WR Josh Pearson

- C Zach Shackelford
- QB Josh Rosen
- K Greg Joseph
- RB Kenjon Barner
- TE Daniel Helm
Helm, 25, signed with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Duke in 2019. He was waived in August and claimed by the 49ers.
San Francisco waived Helm again coming out of the preseason. He was signed to the practice squad and called up to the active roster late in the season. The 49ers waived him this August and he was claimed by the Chiefs before being waived again coming out of camp.
Helm has yet to appear in an NFL game.
During his three years at Duke, Helm caught 69 passes for 767 yards and six touchdowns in 34 career games.
