Roy Cummings first reported that the Buccaneers were signing TE Alan Cross to their practice squad. The team has confirmed the signing along with the addition of LB Cameron Lynch to their taxi squad.
The Buccaneers’ practice squad now consists of:
- RB Russell Hansbrough
- OL Josh Allen
- OL Ben Gottschalk
- WR Freddie Martino
- LB Josh Keyes
- CB Javien Elliott
- S Isaiah Johnson
- LB Micah Awe
- LB Cameron Lynch
- WR Jeremy Butler
Cross, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Memphis back in May. He was unfortunately waived on Saturday.
During his college career, Cross caught 90 passes for 1,050 yards receiving and 14 touchdowns over the course of 42 games.
