Walker, 24, wound up signing on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Temple back in May of 2017. He was waived coming out of the preseason but later added to the team’s practice squad.
Indianapolis brought Walker back on a futures contract each of the past two years, but once again released him at the start of the regular season. He’s been on and off of their practice squad the past two years.
During his college career at Temple, Walker threw for 10,668 yards while completing 56.9 percent of his passes to go along with 74 touchdowns and 44 interceptions over the course of four seasons and 49 games. He also rushed for 771 yards and nine touchdowns.
Johnson, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Texas back in 2016. He was on and off of the Eagles’ practice squad before being traded to the Seahawks last year as part of the Michael Bennett deal.
The Seahawks would later trade Johnson to the Colts at the start of last season for Darrell Daniels. He returned to the Colts on an exclusive rights contract only to be waived with an injury designation coming out of the preseason.
During his college career at Texas, Johnson caught 61 passes for 793 yards receiving and four touchdowns.
