Buccaneers Waive DB John Lowdermilk From Reserve/Retired List

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially waived DB John Lowdermilk from the reserve/retired list on Tuesday.

Lowdermilk, 24, originally signed on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa back in May of last year. He was waived at the start of the 2015 season and later signed to the Vikings practice squad towards the end of the year.

Minnesota brought him back on a future/reserve contract before cutting him loose shortly after this year’s draft. The Buccaneers elected to claim him off of waivers before placing him on the reserve/retired list just a few weeks later.

Lowdermilk hasn’t appeared in an NFL game.
