The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Thursday that they’ve waived DT Stevie Tu’ikolovatu with an injury designation.

Should Tu’ikolovatu clear waivers tomorrow, he would revert to the Buccaneers’ injured serve list.
Tu’ikolovatu, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2017. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $2.49 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $555,000 and $645,000 over the next two years of the agreement.
During his college career at Utah and USC, Tu’ikolovatu recorded 89 tackles, nine tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks, four fumble recoveries with one being returned for a touchdown and three pass defenses over the course of three seasons and 28 games.
