Buccaneers Signing DT Drew Iddings

According to Greg Auman, the Buccaneers are signing DT Drew Iddings to a contract on Thursday.

Iddings had worked out for the Giants, Jets and Titans in recent weeks.

Iddings, 25, originally signed on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of South Dakota back in 2016. He was unfortunately waived coming out of the preseason as the Raiders cut their roster down to 53 players.

Iddings had a brief stint with the Saints before signing on with the Panthers last summer. Carolina waived him with an injury designation and he spent the year on their injured reserve list.

Iddings returned to the Panthers on an exclusive rights contract this offseason but was waived a few days ago.

During his four-year college career, Iddings recorded 149 tackles, 32 tackles for a loss, five pass defenses, four forced fumbles, two recoveries, and eight sacks over the course of 46 games.
