The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced that they have placed Kย Patrick Murray on waivers Thursday.
It’s clear that second-round K Roberto Aguayo is going to be their guy for the foreseeable future, so this shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.
Murray, 24, signed on with the Buccaneers on a future/reserve back in January of 2014. However, he wasn’t able to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason and was later placed on their injured reserve list after clearing waivers.
In 2014, Murray appeared in 16 games and converted 20-24 field goal attempts (83.3 percent) to go along with 31 of 31 extra point tries.
