The Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially waived WR Thomas Sperbeck from injured reserve with an injury settlement on Thursday.
Sperbeck, 22, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Boise State back in May. He stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the agreement.
During his college career, Sperbeck caught 224 passes for 3,601 yards receiving and 20 touchdowns over the course of four seasons and 44 games.
