The Arizona Cardinals announced Sunday that they’ve waived four undrafted rookies including TE Ryan Becker, OL Steven Gonzalez, CB Zane Lewis and DE Adam Shuler.
This leaves the Cardinals’ active roster at 75 players ahead of next weekend’s cuts deadline.
Undrafted rookies have it as hard as ever this year to secure roster spots without OTAs and minicamps.
Becker wound up going undrafted out of SMU back in April. He later agreed to a three-year, $2.28 million contract with the Cardinals.
During his college career at SMU, Becker caught 16 passes for 198 yards receiving and five touchdowns over the course of four seasons and 15 games.
