Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Cardinals are expected to sign CB Ken Crawley, pending COVID-19 tests and physical.
The Cardinals hosted Crawley for a visit on Wednesday.
Cardinals CB Robert Alford is likely done for the season, so they could use some help at cornerback and it appears as though they have their sights set on bringing in Crawley.
Crawley, 27, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado in 2016. He managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason and returned to New Orleans on an exclusive rights contract.
Crawley was waived by the Saints a few months ago and later claimed by the Dolphins. Miami waived him with an injury designation last year and he was later waived from injured reserve.
Crawley signed a futures contract with the Raiders this past January before releasing him on Tuesday.
In 2019, Crawley appeared in five games for the Saints and Dolphins and recorded six tackles and no interceptions.
