Gilbert, 31, is a former second-round pick of the Steelers back in 2011. He is in the final year of his six-year, $30.815 million contract that included a $7.65 million signing bonus and set to make a base salary of $4,865,103 for the 2019 season.
The Steelers traded Gilbert to the Cardinals during the offseason for a sixth-round pick.
In 2018, Gilbert appeared in five games for the Steelers. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 41 overall offensive tackle out of 80 qualifying players.
