The Arizona Cardinals officially promoted QB Chad Kanoff to their active roster and waived WR Jalen Tolliver on Saturday.
Kanoff, 24, wound up signing on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Princeton back in May. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Cardinals, but was waived coming out of the preseason.
The Cardinals later signed Kanoff to their practice squad.
During his college career at Princeton, Kanoff threw for 7,510 yards while completing 64.5 percent of his passes to go along with 43 touchdowns and 22 interceptions over the course of 34 games. He also rushed for 147 yards and a touchdown.
