Cardinals HC Ken Whisenhunt said that QB Ryan Lindley will be the starter on Sunday, per Kent Somers.
The move is likely more focused on the future, considering the Cardinals are out of the hunt at this point and need to thoroughly evaluate all of their options at quarterback for 2013.
Lindley is having a disappointing season thus far, having already thrown five interceptions without a touchdown pass to date, along with his 48.3% completion percentage. He’ll likely struggle against the Lions on Sunday.
