The Arizona Cardinals announced Thursday that they’ve re-signed TE Ricky Seals-Jones to a one-year exclusive rights contract for the 2019 season.
Seals-Jones, 24, signed on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M back 2017. He was among Arizona’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and later signed on to the team’s practice squad.
The Cardinals promoted Seals-Jones a few weeks later and he’s remained on their active roster ever since.
Seals-Jones will be a restricted free agent in 2020.
In 2018, Seals-Jones appeared in 15 games for the Cardinals caught 34 passes for 343 yards receiving and one touchdown.
