Cardinals Re-Sign Veteran DE Frostee Rucker To One-Year Deal

The Arizona Cardinals announced that they’ve re-signed veteran DE Frostee Rucker to a one-year contract on Friday.

Rucker, 33, is a former third-round pick of the Bengals back in 2006. He spent five years in Cincinnati before joining the Browns for the 2012 season.

However, Cleveland cut Ruckers loose just a year into his five-year contract and he eventually caught on with the Cardinals in 2013.

In 2016, Rucker appeared in 13 games for the Cardinals and recorded 13 tackles, no sacks, a forced fumble and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 96 interior defender 127 out of qualifying players.
