According to Mike Garafolo, the Cardinals have released TE Parker Houston on Sunday.
Houston was signed as an undrafted free agent hoping to stick as a tight end/fullback hybrid. But as teams start to reduce their roster size, he’ll instead be among the cuts.
Arizona signed a total of 21 undrafted free agents following the draft this year and there’s a good chance the team will release a few more along with Houston.
Houston, 22, signed with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of San Diego State.
During his four-year college career, Houston caught 45 passes for 420 yards and three touchdowns in 31 games.
