Cardinals Set To Host Ohio State DE Nick Bosa This Week

According to Albert Breer, the Cardinals will host Ohio State DE Nick Bosa on Thursday and Friday as one of their top-30 visits.

Bosa reportedly also had dinner with the Cardinals last Friday in Fort Lauderdale.

While the general consensus is the Cardinals plan to take Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray, Bosa could be in the mix for the No. 1 overall pick if the Cardinals decide to stick with Josh Rosen.

Bosa likely wouldn’t have to wait long if the Cardinals pass on him, as many expect the 49ers to take him No. 2 overall.

Bosa, 21, is a consensus top-5 talent in this year’s draft class and arguably the best of a great group of pass rusher prospects. Last year, Bosa suffered a core muscle injury that has kept him sidelined and he decided it was best to not risk further injury and sat out the remainder of the season.

During his college career at Ohio State, Bosa recorded 77 tackles, 29 tackles for a loss, 17.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, two pass defenses and a defensive touchdown over the course of three seasons and 29 games.
