Cardinals Sign C Max Tuerk Off Of Chargers’ Practice Squad, Place C Daniel Munyer On IR

The Arizona Cardinals announced Monday that they’ve signed C Max Tuerk off of the Chargers’ practice squad and placed C Daniel Munyer on injured reserve.

Tuerk, 23, is a former third-round pick of the Chargers back in 2016. He was in the second year of his four-year, $3.57 million contract and was set to make base salaries of $613,000 and $760,000 over the next two years when the Chargers waived him a month ago.

Los Angeles re-signed him to their practice squad a few weeks later.

Tuerk has yet to appear in an NFL game since entering the league.

Munyer, 25, originally signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado back in 2015. He was on and off of the Chiefs’ practice squad for much of time in Kansas City.

The Cardinals signed Munyer to a future/reserve contract this past January, only to cut him loose coming out of the preseason.

In 2017, Munyer has appeared in one game for the Cardinals.
