The Arizona Cardinals announced Tuesday that they’ve signed CB Ronald Zamort to their practice squad.
The Cardinals’ practice squad now consists of:
- DB Trevon Hartfield
- RB Elijhaa Penny
- G Kaleb Johnson
- OLB Nordly Capi
- TE Brian Leonhardt
- WR Chris Hubert
- P Matt Wile
- OT Aaron Epps
- WR Marvin Hall
- CB Ronald Zamort
Zamort, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Western Michigan back in May. He was unfortunately waived coming out of the preseason and didn’t signed on to a practice squad until now.
During his college career, Zamort recorded 150 tackles, one sack, six interceptions, 51 pass defenses, two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble over the course of 48 games.
