Cardinals Sign German DL Moubarak Djeri

The Arizona Cardinals announced Wednesday that they’ve signed German DL Moubarak Djeri to a contract.

โ€œIt was a big dream, and right now itโ€™s life,โ€ Djeri said of signing an NFL contract. โ€œIโ€™m so excited to be here.โ€

Regarding playing in the NFL,ย Djeri says he knows things are going to be much faster but he plans to get to work.

โ€œI know the NFL is much faster than the league I played in before,โ€ Djeri said. โ€œBut Iโ€™m going to keep working.โ€

Djeri, 22, was born in the West African nation of Togo before relocating to Germany when he was 11 as part of a student exchange program. He began his football career at the age of 2018.

Djeri is 6-foot-3 and 275 pounds and recorded 12 sacks, 40 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and a pair of forced fumbles for the Cologne Crocodiles last year.
