The Arizona Cardinals announced Friday that they’ve signed LB Edmond Robinson to their practice squad and placed WR Carlton Agudosi on the practice squad injured list with a hamstring injury.
The Cardinals’ practice squad now consists of:
- DT Pasoni Tasini
- TE Anthony Denham (Injured)
- LB Earl Okine
- DE Peli Anau
- DB Jarell Carter
- WR Alonzo Russell
- RB Darius Victor
- DB K.J. Dillon
- WR Carlton Agudosi (Injured)
- OLB Vontarrius Dora
- WR Rashad Ross
- LB Edmond Robinson
Robinson, 25, is a former seventh-round pick by the Vikings out of Newberry in the 2015 NFL Draft. He was in the third-year of a four-year, $2.348 million rookie contract and set to earn a base salary of $615,000 this season when Minnesota decided to waive him.
The Jets claimed him off waivers from the Vikings the day after he was waived. New York wound up waiving him with an injury designation two weeks later and eventually cutting him loose a few days ago.
In 2016, Robinson appeared in 12 games for the Vikings and recorded two tackles and no other statistics.
