The Cardinals announced Wednesday they’ve signed free agent LB Matt Longacre.
With the move, Arizona now has 89 of a maximum 90 players on their roster ahead of the start of training camp.
It’s been a quiet offseason for Longacre, who hasn’t received much interest outside of a visit with the Ravens in May.
Longacre, 27, signed on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Northwest Missouri State back in 2015. He played out his rookie contract before returning to the Rams last year on a restricted deal worth $1.907 for the 2018 season.
In 2018, Longacre appeared in 13 games for the Rams and recoded 17 tackles and a sack.
We have him featured in our Top 50 Available Free Agents list.
