Cardinals Sign Third-Round WR Chad Williams

The Arizona Cardinals announced Thursday that they’ve signed third-round WR Chad Williams to a four-year rookie contract.

According to OverTheCap.com, Williams will receiveĀ a four-year contract worth $3,106,288, which includes a signing bonus of $706,284.

Williams, 22, was selected with the No. 98 overall pick by the Cardinals after they elected to trade down with the Panthers from No. 77 in the third round. In total, Arizona gained a third- and fourth-round pick in this year’s draft by trading down.

During his four-year college career at Grambling State, Williams recorded 210 receptions for 3,062 yards receiving (14.6 YPC) for 28 touchdowns in 47 games with the Tigers.
