Cardinals Signing QB Brett Hundley To One-Year Deal Worth Up To $3M

Adam Schefter reports that the Cardinals are signing QB Brett Hundley to a one-year contract.

  • According to Ian Rapoport, Hundley gets a one-year contract worth $2 million that has a max value of $3 million.

There had been some buzz that Arizona could be a landing spot for Hundley and it looks like the Cardinals turned out to be his best option in the end.

Hundley, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Packers back in 2015. He was traded to the Seahawks last year for a 2019 sixth-round pick.

Hundley played out the final year of his four-year, $2.504 million contract that included a $223,632 signing bonus and made a base salary of $705,000 for the 2018 season.

In 2017, Hundley had appeared in 11 games and completed 60.8 percent of his passes for 1,836 yards to go along with nine touchdown and 11 interceptions. He has also rushed for 270 yards and two touchdowns.
