The Arizona Cardinals announced Tuesday that they’ve signed Sย Darian Thompsonย and WR Bernard Reedy to their practice squad and releasedย CB Demetrious Cox and LB Nigel Harris from the unit.
The Cardinals’ practice squad now consists of:
- OL Will House
- QB Charles Kanoff
- DT Pasoni Tasini
- WR Jalen Tolliver
- TE Andrew Vollert
- CB Chris Jones
- RB Jalen Simmons
- LB Ufomba Kamalu
- S Darian Thompson
- WR Bernard Reedy
Thompson, 24, is a former third-round pick of the Giants back in 2016. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $3.45 million contractย and set to make base salaries of $705,000 and $805,000 over the final two years of the agreement.
The Giants waived Thompson with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and he later reverted to their injured reserve list. New York waived him with an injury settlement soon after.
In 2017, Thompson appeared in all 16 games for the Giants and recorded 75 tackles, one interception and six pass defenses.
