Cardinals Waive DT Vincent Valentine With Injury Designation

The Arizona Cardinals officially waived DT Vincent Valentine with an injury designation on Wednesday. 

Should Valentine clear waivers tomorrow, he would revert to the Cardinals’ injured serve list.

Valentine, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Patriots back in 2016. He was in the third year of his four-year, $3.03 million contract when the Patriots waived him coming out of the preseason last year. 

Valentine had brief stints on the Patriots Cardinals and Seahawks practice squads before Arizona signed him to their active roster last year. 

For his career, Valentine appeared in 16 games for the Patriots and Cardinals and recorded 20 tackles and a sack.
