The Arizona Cardinals officially waived LB Thurston Armbrister on Wednesday.
Armbrister, 26, originally signed on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Miami back in May of 2015. He was able to make Jacksonville’s active roster and played a full year with the team before being waived.
Armbrister had brief stints with the Lions and Giants before he was waived last summer and eventually signed to the Cardinals’ practice squad. Arizona later promoted him to their active roster, but eventually placed him on injured reserve.
In 2018, Armbrister appeared in one game for the Cardinals and recorded one tackle.
