The Arizona Cardinals officially waived TE Beau Sandland with a non-football injury designation on Friday.
Sandland, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Panthers back in 2016. He was waived at the start of the season and later signed to the team’s practice squad.
The Packers signed Sandland to a futures contract for the 2017 season but wound up waiving him with an injury designation during the preseason and later cutting him loose with an injury settlement.
Sandland signed on with the Cardinals back in April.
During his senior season at Montana State, Sandland caught 37 passes for 632 yards (17.1 YPR) and nine touchdowns.
