According to Aaron Wilson, the Cardinals are bringing in five free agents for workouts this week including WR Robert Davis.
The full list of tryouts includes:
- TE Ian Bunting
- WR Robert Davis
- QB Cole McDonald
- DT David Parry
- WR Khalil Tate
Davis, 25, was a sixth-round pick by the Redskins out of Georgia State in the 2017 NFL Draft. He was entering the third year of his four-year, $2.53 million rookie contract and set to earn a base salary of $645,000 this season when the Redskins waived him.
Davis was signed to the Eagles’ practice squad and eventually added to the active roster. Philadelphia later waived him with an injury settlement prior to the 2020 season.
The Raiders signed him to their practice squad in late September but was cut loose earlier this month.
In 2019, Davis appeared in three games for the Redskins and three for the Eagles and recorded two catches for 17 yards.
