The Chargers announced Tuesday they’ve activated LB Jatavis Brown from the PUP list.

Brown ended the 2018 season on injured reserve. He’s projected to play a prominent role for the Chargers on defense this season.
Brown, 24, is a former fifth-round pick of the Chargers back in 2016. He’s entering the final year of his four-year, $2.681 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $720,000 for the 2019 season.
In 2018, Brown appeared in 15 games for the Chargers and recorded 97 tackles, one sack, a forced fumble and five pass defenses.
