The Los Angeles Chargers announced that they have activated RB Justin Jackson from their injured reserve, promoted LB B.J. Bello from the practice squad, and waived LB Asmar Bilal in a corresponding roster move.
The Chargers also signed P Lachlan Edwards to their practice squad and released WR Manasseh Bailey to make room for him.

Jackson, 24, was a seventh-round pick by the Chargers out of Northwestern in the 2018 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year, $2,529,070 rookie contract and was set to earn a base salary of $480,000 when the Chargers waived him coming out of the preseason.
Los Angeles re-signed him to the practice squad before promoting him to the active roster shortly afterward.
In 2020, Jackson has appeared in six games for the Chargers and rushed 45 times for 185 yards (4.1 YPC) and no touchdowns to go with 15 catches for 131 yards.
