The Los Angeles Chargers announced Tuesday that they’ve promoted CB Tevaughn Campbell to their active roster and released K Chase McLaughlin.
- The Chargers also signed OT Tyree St. Louis to their practice squad.
Hereโs the Chargers updated practice squad:
- DE Anthony Lanier
- WR Artavis Scott (Injured)
- OL Spencer Drango
- WR Anthony Johnson
- LB Jeff Holland
- DB Quenton Meeks
- DB Shalom Luani
- TE Stephen Anderson
- C Cole Toner
- WR Jalen Guyton
- OT Tyree St. Louis
McLaughlin, 23, originally signed on with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois back in May. He was among Buffalo’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and caught on with the Vikings’ practice squad.
Minnesota wound up cutting him after a week with the team on September 10. He later signed on with the Chargers a few weeks ago.
In 2019, McLaughlin has appeared in four games for the Chargers and converted 6 of 9 field goal attempts to go along with all seven extra point tries.
St. Louis, 22, wound up going undrafted out of Miami (FL) back in April. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Patriots, but was waived coming out of the preseason.
St. Louis had a brief stint on the Patriots’ practice squad before the Colts added him to their taxi squad. The Chargers signed him to their practice squad and he’s been on and off of the unit ever since.
As a senior at Miami, St. Louis appeared in all 13 games at left tackle and was an All-ACC Honorable Mention.
