The San Diego Chargers announced Wednesday that they’ve placed CB Brandon Flowers on injured reserve and promoted DT Kaleb Eulls to the active roster.
- The Chargers signed DT Chuka Ndulue to their practice squad.
Flowers, 30, is a former second-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2008. He signed a four-year, $36.4 million contractย that includesย $20.5 million guaranteed with the Chargers back in March of last year.
Flowers stands to make base salaries of $9 million and $7.4 million over the final two years of the contract.
In 2016, Flowersย Flowers appeared in six games for the Chargers and recorded 28 tackles, one interception returned for a touchdown and five pass defenses.ย Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 48 cornerback out of 120 qualifying players.
