Guyton, 22, originally signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of North Texas back in May. He was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and signed with the Chargers’ practice squad once passing through waivers unclaimed.
During his college career, Guyton appeared in 25 games for North Texas after transferring from Notre Dame and recorded 103 receptions for 1,580 yards receiving (15.3 YPC) and 15 touchdowns.
